My followup thyroid cancer testing came back negative! I'm waiting on some blood work that takes a while, but I'm pretty optomistic that my 1 treatment did what it was supposed to do.

I picked up Alan from my MIL on Saturday AM. He could have come home earlier (I had him there because we cosleep and I didn't want him affected by the radiation) but Mark brough home a cold and got he and I sick. My MIL didn't want Alan to be sick (I was worried we wouldn't get him back...not in a serious way, but I think she liked having him around and he was very good with her...she'd always call with questions or advice on what he eats/doesn't eat.)

I got him buzzed down for summer (short short hair). He looks older now and more like a little boy. It's cute.

Saturday we didn't do much - our usual farmer's market/Big Lots run. Then I cleaned the deck up. We bbqed hot dogs with potatoes but Alan didn't want them. We went to the playground and Alan got to bed late alas.

Today we went for Father's day to the Englishtown NJ flea market. We got an early start. We didn't get much - belts for Mark, suntan lotion, juice boxes and some previously loved Thomas trains for Alan and some potatoes for dinner. Then we went to Old Country Buffet - my treat. After nap, we did some grocery shopping and Alan and I went to the playground after dinner.

Back to work tommorrow. Not all my coworkers know *why* I was off (the medical stuff). There's been some reorganization this week - I have to see what's happened that's not been in e-mail.

There's a few nicer ones on the American Top 40
but still a lot of rap.
