iPod

I've heard Target has a 3rd generation 10gb one clearancing out at 209.00.
Is this any good?
Can you rip your own CD's into MP's on it?
How many songs is 10gb?

That's pretty good. With iTunes (available for Mac and Windows) you can load up an iPod from CDs.

Using rough math and estimations, MP3s are (approximately) a meg a minute, thus 10,000 minutes for 10 gigs, or roughly 2000 songs at 5 minutes each, or, scaled further, more or less 200 CDs worth of music.

For comparison, the current low end in Apple's lineup is the 15GB iPod for $299, not counting the mini iPods, which are $249 for a freakey-styley cased 5GB model.
