iPod

I've heard Target has a 3rd generation 10gb one clearancing out at 209.00.
Is this any good?
Can you rip your own CD's into MP's on it?
How many songs is 10gb?

I bought one...

This week and its killer. It was my husband Vday pres. He loved it, I wish I had bought it for me. ;)

I bought the 15g for 299. If you have a PC, you will either need a firewire card, found very cheap for $15, or a USB ipod connector. We went for the card as it was cheaper. We also bought another accessory where you can broadcast your ipod over the radio in any car, or sterosytem. Way cool.

How well does your iTrip work? I got one for my hubby's iPod for Christmas. I'm disappointed - it doesn't seem to work well at all!

We had some issues with it, but we used the cd that came with it. Turns out there is some update software available that is supposed to make it better, and even has some Itrip stations that scan for available/best stations available in your area. Have not tried it yet, but hoping it help. We did find a station that works best in our area, and it is okay, but not digital quality sound, witrh some occasional static too.
