Uh No

So I decided I wanted to hear "Empire State of Mind" by Jay Z because it's getting a lot of buzz with the Yankees in the playoffs.

I kept thinking of "New York State of Mind" by Billy Joel.

So I listened.

Since my son wants me to dress up while he's wearing his batman costume, I'll wear my "old" Star Trek Uniform. (Star Trek: TNG actually). I have 2 of them from when I was active in Starfleet fandom. I am not sure if I'll be wearing the one that I got for 5.00 after Halloween one year.

I think it's still in a bin at my MIL's garage, but my favorite adult costume was when I dressed up as Xena in the mid 90's - bought the costume, got a black wig and made cardboard prop weapon (the circle thing she used). I've got a photo somewhere, I should post it.

Dug through the tub of old costumes

Actually found my old costume tub - I have some stuff that dates back to 80's or 90's in there mostly in good shape - I had a 50's girl, wonder woman, a pirate wench, minnie mouse ears, bow tie, nose, a vampire cape and teeth, and my Xena costume. But I found a really cool one I forgot about - a Ninja costume! It's a cloth costume with a mask and hood, in black with matching split toe shoes. It was bought in costume/novelty shop in North Reading when I lived there and I remember it was fairly expensive back then. I even bought 2 plastic throwing stars to go with it.

This is it - from a martial arts place! I don't have the swords, though!
