Oh well

The party @ the Y this Am was bust - a carnival for little kids, Alan wasn't interested. At least I signed him up for Y vacation camp for the day I needed next week (thursday when NJ has all schools off for teacher's convention, friday I took off with him).

Then Alan changed his mind on the parade in town. It turns out my Ninja costume no longer fits - it was size small back when I was between 120 and 130 lbs. I'll save it for Alan in a few years. So I dug out my old Star Trek uniform. Had to look up the pips to go with it - I long ago forgot my rank in Stafleet. I'm glad someone wrote a wikipedia page on Star Trek insignia.

Since it was large, it still fits. I'll see if I can get a photo of me in it later. This is me in it 1997 or so.
