Argh

Alan managed to lock the bathroom door tonight. Fortunately, we were all locked OUT and no one was in it. After a bit of rummaging I did find a screwdriver that opened it (I'm the family handy person).

Alan is being punished though - no TV tommorrow. He had a tough time going to bed tonight throwing a fit. Finally, I went in with him for a few minutes and he did fall asleep.

tomorrow he won't even remember why you punished him. Locking themselves in/out is something all little kids do. It's why many parents buy doorknobs without locks. Just be thankful that you didn't have to take the door off the hinges, like dad did when my brother did that.
