Archiving my journal etc

What's the quickest way to archive it?
I'm not paniced that six apart will lose it or something but I should keep my own backup for safety.

I'm not going friends only yet - decided there isn't anyone in real life that I'm worried about. I still might lock work gripes just in case.

I used http://www.livejournal.com/support/faqbrowse.bml?faqid=8 to download my entries (month by month, what a pain--from now on, I'm just doing it at the end of every month) and then used the livejournal backup kit to convert the entries to text. You need to save them (with the livejournal thing) as XML. The result isn't beautiful, but it's something.

I think the logjam client can also do this, but I was doing this late the other night, and was too tired to figure out logjam. ;)

Use ljbook. There is a link on my users info page. I did it once and it worked nicely. Granted, its going to take some download time but you end up with a .pdf you can burn to cd if you want.
