Just Stuff
New digital cable is neat. Trying to figure out how to work the remote when your three year old is screaming in your ear (because the program the guide said was on wasn't on) is not fun.
Still trying to figure out how to program the remote - it doesn't seem to work with my VCR/DVD and I can't get the TV and cable box off and on at the same time even following the instructions? Will have to check the website.
My friend who was expecting twins had them yesterday. Brandon Joshua and Scott Daniel - 6 lbs 8 oz and 5 lbs 14 oz respectively - they are fraternal twins (I asked). Mother and babies are doing well. She plans to have everyone over in about a month after she gets settled with motherhood. Looking forward to meeting them and holding a little baby again.

What I do like about our system is that to record is just a couple of clicks of the remote. The downside is the sometimes the programing is off, I think it is more the channel's fault than the system.
Our local NBC station is going HD in February. That should spoil me big time.
