Oy!

I was doing laundry - and went back to get one forgotten sock (my machine is across the hall). I managed to lock myself out. I knocked on a neighbors door and borrowed her cell phone (I guess she has no regular phone) and called a few times before Mark woke (the ringer is off on the bedroom phone) - I also buzzed the buzzer for the door. I felt embarassed but what could I do :(

On another note, Alan is apparently considered enrolled in the public schools here as he attends the pre-k program. Mail arrived today addressed to the parents of Alan Gottlieb with info all about next months drug prevention program (which is really for grades 1 and up, primarily in middle school). Alan's 3, he doesn't even want to take medicine, let alone drugs - I'm surprised we got this mailing!

maybe you can drop some cookies to your neighbor as a nice thank you, if you really feel the buzzing was inappropriate...but chances are it was no biggie!

;)

It's difficult when you are locked out. Fortunately we can't lock out. We always have to lock the door our self and turn the key. Its good to have neighours who can help.

I'll need to tell the story of when my roommate looked herself out of the house with her 3 year old daughter and 3 month old son inside. That was a doozy!
