Well, daycare wouldn't take Alan, even though he was fine. So I did a last minute work from home today. Not what I wanted, but I don't have vacation time now.

My MIL came over and stayed with him from 10:00 till 12:30 when he went to the public program. I'll get him at 2:50, and work around him from 3-5:30. Yeah, I'm that bad mommy using work from home as daycare as well as tv as a sitter, but I really have no choice today.

Nothing wrong with TV as babysitter once in awhile. It only makes you a bad mom if it's ALWAYS like that. (Besides, half the daycares I've been in/worked at had children sitting in front of the TV for hours at a time because it kept them quiet.)
