Bit Torrent
Alan loves certain videos on YouTube. We recently found out it was this Bernard Bear which is on TV in Australia.
Anyway, the only DVD we could find was from Australia which is region 4 on DVD's. Not knowing how to play it on our players (we have enough trouble playing our own copied ones sometimes) - my husband found it as a torrent. So I downloaded Bit Torrent, set it up and have 70-something percent downloaded now.
But once it's downloaded, what do I do with the file?
Personally, I'm not a big fan of downloading stuff via peer to peer networks off the internet, but this was something that couldn't be gotten any other way and not something I think the copyright police are terribly interested in.

it might not if you're using an older computer and haven't upgraded your video drivers in the last 2-3 years.

We bought a cheapo DVD player that plays avi files without any conversion. Handy.
