School Costumer Ideas

Alan's school is doing the Red Ribbon week (an anti-drug program)

They have 2 costume days where I need to find him something to wear:

- One day is 80's day - although my husband and I have 80's clothing around (sad to say we still do!), none will fit a boy wearing size 6.

- The other day is opposite day where boys dress like girls and vice versa. Unforunately, my girl stuff won't fit him either.

Any ideas? I've got the other days covered, I wished they chosen crazy hair day or PJ's to school day instead of these.

For opposite day you could go to, like, walmart or target and buy a cheap dress and leggings (since i'm sure it's colder there) and since it's halloween time you could buy him a girl wig.

For the 80's, there should be children's costumes at walmart and such with the big sunglasses, bell bottoms and big afro wigs:)

That sounds like a lot of fun, we only ever did that in high school and it was SO funny seeing everyone's costumes.

Erm. Afros and bellbottoms would be more 70's. For 80's, you'd want man-perms, mullets, mohawks, pastels, and day-glow colors. And socks that match the shirt. Oh, and ray-bans. No cool kid didn't have ray-bans. With fluorescent earpieces, of course.

And really, "80's day" might as well be "crazy hair day". Especially for the girls (remember the huge bangs/dead hamster on your head look?).

ooh, 80's, I saw 70's, LOL.

Wow, if it was girl 80's that'd be easy, boy 80's? That's a hard one.
