Illnois house votes for impeachment against the Governor

Vote was 114 to 1 for impeaching. Who was the person who voted "No"?

At least the Governors of NY (Spitzer) and NJ (McGreevy) who f*cked up (mostly on a personal life level) resigned before getting impeached.

I get the impression the IL Governor is just crazy, unlike Spitzer and McGreevy...Rod seems to think he's innocent, despite the overwhelming evidence.
His sense of entitlement is astounding!

I really think the Illinois Governor is crazy.

Spitzer and McGreevy made stupid decisions based on their sex drive. McGreevy's mistake that did him in was appointing his "boyfriend" to the Homeland Security slot in his cabinet which he wasn't really qualified for except for being in the Israeli army - if you want to give a significant other a job, it's usually best to stick him in some obscure government corner.

And as far as Spitzer, the NY Magazine cover summed it up perfectly. It was a picture of Spitzer with an arrow aimed at a certain body part and the caption "Brain".

Spitzer cover ... LOL!

I do think Blago has narcisstic personality disorder or something like that. And somehow he is "high-functioning" enough to get to the governor's office (instead of being perpetually fired from low-level jobs).

I believe there was a governor of Arizona who was impeached and convicted not so long ago -- maybe in the 1990s?
