Hm. Joyce. I don't know how to explain him, really...he writes vignettes, strung together into collected narrative.

James Joyce is... strange. I've only read one work by him ( Portrait of the artist as a young man ) because I had to for a class in high school. He writes in stream of conscious so it's jumpy and just kind of what he was thinking.

That said, though, I can definitely see how I write the same way at times (not on assignments for classes, but definitely in my journaling and personal e-mails), so I don't know that I'd say it's a bad thing as long as your friends understand and accept your writing for what it is! :)
