Dining Out

We were going to go to Cheesecake Factory for dinner tonight, but there was a 15 - 30 minute wait tonight and it was getting late (past 7:30) by the time we found a parking spot - for some reason there were a lot of people eating out at the restaurants at this more upscale mall.

So we went to Pizzeria Uno which is quiet during the week. Alan was good there when we ate there before my surgery in March. But he doesn't eat pizza, so I suggested we order a kids meal and take home what he doesn't eat (he usually eats at the sitters, we don't give him much dinner). We got him chicken nuggets and fries. He ate about 80% of a large order - leaving a few bites of a few nuggets and a little more of the fries. We were impressed as we thought he ate dinner. He was very good, except he spilled water from the kids cup on him while drinking and playing. (I forgot a sippy cup).

We'll have to go back some Sunday when they do the kids meal for a penny a pound. He'd eat very well for approximately 30 cents!

I like Pizzeria Uno better than Cheesecake Factory. We ate at Uno this week. I didn't know they did a kids meal night. I wonder if that's local or a chain thing? I think I'll check out the website.

Can never tell with our son whether he'll eat or not. Sometimes he devours a meal and sometimes he just picks at it. He doesn't always give us a good answer when we ask if he's hungry. I'm not sure he knows exactly what it means.

So, birthday girl, you're able to eat normally now, right? :-)

I love Cheesecake Factory. We had one in FL near where we lived, but not one anywhere near here. I love cheesecake. But Pizzeria Unos is fabulous too. AGain, not one here. I think we need to move :)
Ethan is not into pizza much either. He'll eat the plain crust or the cheese, but itsn't fond of the pizza sauce. He's like that with spaghetti too.

We used to go to Pizzera Uno when I was in college in Mass to celebrate end of terms. I'd always eat the Uno. But my husband doesn't like all the stuff, so we get plain (I've got leftover for lunch today...yum!)

Alan likes spagehtti and sauce. I ordered rotini bolinaise the other day (spicy meat sauce) from a good local italian place. He devoured the sauce. I know he eats it at the sitter, as I see how much his clothes get to eat when he's eaten it!
