Dining Out

We were going to go to Cheesecake Factory for dinner tonight, but there was a 15 - 30 minute wait tonight and it was getting late (past 7:30) by the time we found a parking spot - for some reason there were a lot of people eating out at the restaurants at this more upscale mall.

So we went to Pizzeria Uno which is quiet during the week. Alan was good there when we ate there before my surgery in March. But he doesn't eat pizza, so I suggested we order a kids meal and take home what he doesn't eat (he usually eats at the sitters, we don't give him much dinner). We got him chicken nuggets and fries. He ate about 80% of a large order - leaving a few bites of a few nuggets and a little more of the fries. We were impressed as we thought he ate dinner. He was very good, except he spilled water from the kids cup on him while drinking and playing. (I forgot a sippy cup).

We'll have to go back some Sunday when they do the kids meal for a penny a pound. He'd eat very well for approximately 30 cents!

I like Pizzeria Uno better than Cheesecake Factory. We ate at Uno this week. I didn't know they did a kids meal night. I wonder if that's local or a chain thing? I think I'll check out the website.

Can never tell with our son whether he'll eat or not. Sometimes he devours a meal and sometimes he just picks at it. He doesn't always give us a good answer when we ask if he's hungry. I'm not sure he knows exactly what it means.
