Layoffs, the day after

Yesterday they let go 30 some odd people (I think there were around 120 in the company world wide). Three were lost in our group. I'm still there but now have to deal with more work, a 5% pay cut and no more company 401K contribution. And for those awaiting there 2nd half of the 2001 bonus (I started 1/2/02) - it's been postponed indefinitely.

I'm definitely not happy. Even my husband didn't sleep well last night. (We ok financially with the 5% cut). But it s*cks considering I took a 5K paycut to take this job because it was the only one out there.

October and maternity leave can't get here soon enough. I hope to find a job NOT in NYC after maternity leave.

22 Week Appointment

All is well. The fetal echocardiogram came out fine. The heart beat is thumping, blood pressure ok - gained four pounds - total of 7 so far.

Next appointment at 25 weeks.

Gestational Diabeates test at 28 weeks.
