Lamaze Class

It went pretty well last night. Our instructor is pretty laid back. She's not "Lamaze" certified but from another organization. She works part time as a nurse in the hospital we'll deliver in and the doctors in the practice use. She's known them a long time - her kids are from ages 21 to 13. She wants us to have the best birth experience but is not focusing on not using medication. (Her first baby she said she had everything (even though she was teaching lamaze) and the other two she said "fell out!") We will also get a hospital tour (so we probably will cancel the one we scheduled which frees up a Saturday for us!) There were 5 couples registered for the class, 4 showed up - one is expecting twin boys in November - the other two are due either the end of September or the beginning of October. I think DH learned a bit, he didn't seem to mind - we did make jokes to each about a few (private) things during the class.
