Go browse through my list of interests and pick one that either 1) you know nothing about but sounds intriguing, or 2) you know something about but can't fathom why I would be interested in it, and request an explanation.

Thank!

[livejournal.com profile] pattisimmons is very cool. I bought the Gap hobobag for a diaperbag for Alan for the summer (so I don't have a purse and a diaper bag to lug) and it works very nicely.

I do wish it had a bottle shaped pocket (for water or a sippy cup) and the phone sized pockets a bit bigger (my phone isn't the newest tinest ones), but it holds a lot!
And has an easy pocket for diapers/wipes :)

I was going to get a Land's End backpack diaper bag, but this seems to work :)

Quiet

Wow. I've got some quiet time.
My husband is at our neighbors helping him with tax stuff. And Alan's in bed. He went to bed pretty easy after lying togther for a bit and putting him in his crib. I saw him stand up when I was fiddling with the alarm for tommorrow AM. I said "bedtime" and he went back down and didn't cry even after I left the room. Wow.

Back to work Monday. I have no idea what it will be like after being off for 2 weeks. I so want to change jobs but am stuck until after the radiation treatment. I feel I'm in a holding pattern till I see the specialist April 9th. But I think the synthroid is working. Had more energy today than yesterday (although I napped). I managed to clean the leaves off the deck and do laundry. And we'd gone out to lunch at Charlie Browns. We hadn't taken Alan there since he was 5 months old and freaked on us. (I think it was teething). We stuck to buffets pretty much since then. I think today he was due for a nap at the time we went. But he didn't do that bad considering (we took it calmer, we've had 12 more months of parenting). He ate olives, cucumber, grapes (I tried to smush them first), bread, some of the macraroni and cheese kids lunch (we had a free kids meal coupon), and of course vanilla ice cream. I had to steal a little of it, the burger I'd eaten got stuck somehow and my throat was dry. He really likes to feed himself now.

I'm annoyed at my pharmacy. I've been using the same place since I moved here - so 5 years now. There are 2 pharmacists - nice guy and grouch and a few others that work there from time to time. I dropped off my prescription for Zoloft and Xanax XR friday and asked them to refill it (I only get 1 month supply on a Rx from the doctor.). Didn't get there yesterday as I was busy and wiped out. So this AM I'd figured I'd get them as I was out of them. The prescription hadn't been filled. I had to wait for this not-so-great guy that is just a fill in (everyone had problems with insurance it seemed and I wasn't crazy about him when I got a refill from him before) to fill them only to find out they had no Xanax XR. Great. Not only didn't they fill it but one was out. I think the Xanax/XR (not regular Xanax) is ok to miss a day, but the night before work wasn't the night to miss. Sigh.

Anyway, I need to check the laundry now, so I'll post.
