I took Alan with me tonight for some errands. First stop was the library. Saw our favorite librarian. Got 2 CD's - the new Todd Rudgren for my husband and Clay Aiken (I've never heard him sing, didn't watch American Idol much.) Also the new book "Happiest Toddler on the Block", I'll check it out.
I then went to gymboree to pickup the items I had on hold for the Rise and Shine. The store was empty (as it usually is at night). Alan was very very good, I asked them to put the tv and he sat and rocked and didn't want to leave - such a change from the last time when all he wanted to do was run!
I only got the blue henley body suit and the red anchor t and the 2 pair of striped socks (I figure I'll get the Henley striped body suit at some point - its not in stock online or instore). Alas I think forgot to use my merchandise credit :(
I looked at the next look book. Did you know there will be PIRATE pajamas? There are some cute items in the next line, the Husky shirt is cute. There is also a basic black turtleneck (onesie or regular) which I might need to go with some stuff and a nice hooded jacket. (The 4 in 1 jacket must have a hidden hood). I also like the alien costume for Halloween - but am not sure I'll pay full price!
At Target I had fun. I got myself the pink ugg boot copies and a Cookie Monster T (both on sale). I almost got the Elmo T, but it says Tickles wanted on the back...didn't like wearing that. The Cookie Monster one says I love cookies. I also saw the 1966 Batman movie on DVD for 5.50, figure Alan might like it.
Alan's good mood continued even though we got home late and he cooperated in getting undressed and ready for bed :)
