Gymboree new lines - review time :)

I like most of what I see in the new boys line. I'm not going to rush to get the Space Trooper sweater for Alan for his 2 year photos Saturday but will definitely get some pieces from the line. It would have been cute if they'd lined the astronaut jumpsuit so it could work as a snowsuit (especially since they show it with fleece hat and gloves). I think the pants that come with the line are nice - I wish they'd made a navy corderoy also.

(I've got 4 sweaters to work with - a Gap striped, an Old Navy striped (both with a navy turtleneck underneat), a cream gymboree with a denim shirt underneath, and the Jack's garage sweater from gymboree which has a "hot wheel" like wheel on it.) I'll have to lay them out and see what works.

I'm also wondering if I can squeeze Alan into layette one more time - I like the yellow caterpillar sweatshirt with the 6 pocket jeans! (I wish it went up to 2t). I'll try to go in person and see if the sizes will work -- or perhaps someone can report. (I love the striped sweater and socks, but know he won't fit the socks :( ). (I bought him the Walk In The Woods "Handle with Care" waffle shirt and it fits, I put it with beige corderoys from TCP.

Of course, girls to me is always cute because I have no reason to buy it.
