It's that time of year for benefits changes. Last year I had a big hassle as Sloan Kettering where I was treated for thyca is out of network. It turns out one of the other networks we can use is one of the few Sloan accepts. So I decided to investigate switching. All of my doctors were on that plan except one, which is my OB/GYN. Unless I get pregnant (sigh), it would be one visit for 2005 with her, so I figured it's cost effecitve to deal with the 300.00 deductable. Ironically, it was on my annual checkup with her in 2003 where my thyroid cancer was observed as a lump. (Due to scheduling my annual won't be till January 2005, sigh.)
