Dec. 30th, 2004 12:58 pmAlan said and did some cute things recently.
He has learned the phrase "Oh S*T". A few days ago he said it, followed by "Don't say it" (which is what we say when he says it).
Mark, Alan and I were watching tv lying on the bed with me in the middle. Mark gave me a kiss on the cheek. Alan did the same. We repeated this several more times, I liked it alot!
The other day I was shopping at the mall. I was trying on pants and trying to decide between carmel brown and olive green. I asked Alan which color I should get - he replied "Red, Yellow!". I told him they didn't come in those colors :( - I ended up getting the brown pair.
He also got a haircut yesterday - nice and neat. He's pretty good with haircuts - he didn't stay in the car chair the whole time - he did want to play on the train table, but the stylist could deal with that also. But he didn't really cry or fuss, until we had to leave the train table to go!
He has a cold, so I took him to the doctor today to be sure it was just a cold - but he only has a wet cough and congestion, nothing else which is good. I also asked about Alan's dry skin and was told to moisturize and put baby oil in his baths and pat dry after the bath.
Alan's napping now,
lucisous_purple is stopping by on her from MA to MD. Kind of neat. She's never met Mark or Alan and I haven't seen her since around 1990 - we met through mutual friends and reconnected here on LJ!
