Beading

Is beading hard? Is it portable (can you do it on a bus)? Is it easy to store? I see few of my friends here do it, I'd love to find a crafty outlet.

Stride Rite sale

For anyone who needs to know - the Buy 1 Get 1 Half off sale is 7/27 through 8/7.

Alan needs fall shoes. I'm afraid to buy ahead on them, and Stride Rite gladly measures his feet. (Although the last few times, I've not seen anything good, so I went next door to Payless!). But he seems to run a bit wobbly, maybe it's a toddler thing, but I'll feel better this fall in good shoes for him.

Even if I wanted to have him wear Gymboree shoes, Gymboree doesn't want to make matching (or similar) shoes past size 8 (baby boy) these days.
