I've send yet another useless complaint to HR about our third party insurers website. Claims do not show up on the website until they are paid, employees can not see them while they are being processed.

For those who have medical insurance in the US, I'm curious if your insurer has this ability on their website and am also curious if your insurer has the ability to show your EOB forms online. Prior to our companies aquistion in 2004 we had Aetna (and before that United Health Care) and we were able to do both of the above.

I suspect it's lazyness on the insurers part and not HIPPA rules, but want to know how it is for others.

I was at Target last night with Mark and Alan. I am looking for a new hat/scarf/gloves for my coat and snowboots as I finally tossed my ancient ones. Target had a ton of hats/scarves/gloves - I'll wait for a sale (I have a black coat, anything will go). But most of the snowboots were gone in the size I need, 6. I'd like a plain black pair not suede or anything that will show dirt. Is everyone with little feet fearing a bad winter. I saw no snow boots at Walmart earlier this week, and Dress Barn near my office was also sold out of size 6 ones.

I probably should also get a pair of those cute wellington rubber boots I've seen around - I could have used them with last weeks extremely rainy week.
