Late night rambles
Dec. 14th, 2005 11:32 pmSo, as I'm leaving work there were several people handing out Shick Quatro Women's Razor Samples (like I'd think about a razor at 5 Pm on a cold winter night?) but I took one and stuck into my coat pocket. I had my handbag with me and a small envelope containing some secondhand clothing snail mailed to my office.
Got to Port Authority and headed to my bus. It was our areas turn to have the "random" bag search people there. I'm like great...the one night I have a package and a razor. I stuck my hand into my coat pocket to block the razor's packaging from being seen, and I got through the checkpoint without incident. I just didn't want to explain it to them.
Then as we were entering the Lincoln Tunnel, a cop car stopped traffic. Sat there for a few then some police cars (marked and unmarked) zipped through the now empty tunnel. Then they let traffic through again. Didn't see them on the other side, guess it was an escort of some kind.
Other than that I'm tired and should go to bed. My period is a little late (maybe a day or so) and I'm hoping it's just late and not anything else (pregnancy or menopause), I wouldn't mind the latter, but the former would cause lots of complications but we'd deal.
