It appears there is damage on the left side of my car also - a small scrape, peeled tape stripes and a rip in the bumper. I'll get an estimate Saturday and see if it is expensive, if so I'll put in a claim. Grr.

Good news from the endo, just come back in 6 months for an ultrasound as there is a lymph node on the left side they are keeping an eye on. It's probably nothing but he's being obsessive (his words). The right side is a surical scar.

I also have been trying to make a mamogram appointment for a few days. Today I finally got through to the hospital I've used the last few years. Well, the first appointment I could get was october 30th at 3:10 in the afternoon - they claim there is a mamogram crisis and all routine appointments are between 1 and 3 ish. Well, the reason I went to them in the past was that they had 7 Am appointments so I don't miss work! Anyway, they had another affiliated place where I was able to get an appointment the end of March (had to wait 1 year past last exam) on Saturday at 7:45 AM which works out better. I am still sending a complaint to the hospital - there were some small customer service issues last year and there should NOT be a 6 month wait for a routine mamogram (and since they say they wouldn't have the results for 2-3 days it could mean another missed work day if there is a problem which is a waste of my time - I would rather stay an extra few minutes and have a few more photos taken the first time.)

Hopefully Alan will go to bed earlier tonight. I need to photograph some eBay stuff and can't do it if I'm lying there next to him.

Just found out my Xanax XR has gone generic - so I'm going to try it (saving 15.00 is worth it). I also just read an article in a Drugstore Trade maagzine my husband had that showed which medicines will be going generic in the next 2 years - I saw my Advair will go generic in 2008 (boy that's an expensive medicine without insurance) and my Zoloft in 2007 if I rememebr right. (You have to register @ drugstorenews.com or I'd link to it).

The only one I won't take generic is my levoxyl. It's my one life essential medicine and from what I've heard over and over on the thyca list, the different brands don't always work the same and the generic levothyroid isn't always from the same mfg when you order it. As long as my prescription plan considers it the generic for synthroid, I'm happy (so I pay the 5.00 generic price for it!)

In the list of top generic drugs, I only recognized one - amoxicillin. Apparently there are 2 different kinds of it - but given the # of children I know who have taken it at one time or another I'm not surprised. I think my cat Moxie took amoxicillin once too!
