Been kind of quiet lately - just busy or unmotivated.

I just had a weird thing happen though - a screw popped out of my glasses making a lens fall out. Fortunately 2 blocks aways from work was a LensCrafter and they were able to replace the lens as they had the right kind of screwdriver. So I can see again :)

Alan's been watching Get Smart on DVD with DH. He likes the physical humor in it. He also has been talking in his sleep - he asks for his (Hot Wheels) cars and even asked for yogurt the other morning. Still no luck with getting him to SIT on the potty for #2.

Picked up 2 bottom sheets and 3 pillowcases for camping this summer at the flea market Saturday. Need one more sheet and 2 sleeping bags (one for DH and one for Alan) - this is cabin camping, they provide mattresses. Last year we borrowed sheets/comforters from my MIL and I took my old sleeping bag from the 1970's - it was a pain to have to return the stuff, so I wanted our own.

DH lost a crown on his tooth and has to wait till the 16th to get it fixed. At least it is on the side and doesn't hurt.

Not much else going on, just work and home and work and home lately. Can't wait till spring - I was pleased to see a small bird this Am outside our condo.

I really enjoyed Seabiscuit by Laura Hillenbrand. It is the story of the great throughbred horse of the late 1930's. She did a lot of research to write the book and it shows, while being entertaining at the same time. This book was a keeper - a rare thing for me lately.

I'm currently reading The Midwife by Gay Courter. It is the story of a Russian Jewish woman, trained in Russia as a midwife and her journey to and life on the Lower East Side of NYC in the early 1900's. It's a pretty detailed story and the birthy stuff is interesting.
