Didn't get to do what I wanted this weekend (get a tote from my MILs and cleanout that hall closet), but we did get to do some other things.
We managed to sell (to a good home) DH's old Moog Opus 3 synthesizer. After a few false leads on cragslist, we got a response from a man who wanted it for his musically talented 13 year old son. They came for it this Am, it wasn't working 100% right (but it had been stored in a closet for over 15 years!) - they took it and with a little work got it working perfect again (I'd thought it was something icky and dusty inside, I turned out to be right). Sometimes it's not just selling something, but finding it the right home.
Meanwhile I still have Alan's crib/toddler bed in pieces in our bedroom, as yet another interested party on craigslist changed their mind.
We also got to a friend's 5 1/2 month old baby girl that we hadn't seen in sometime. She is very cute but didn't like DH making funny faces (he loves to do it with babies). Alan wasn't to interested - she's at the stage where she gets attention but wouldn't really interact with Alan :( He brought his Hot Wheels with him (he loves their floor, it's linoleum) and played with them most of the time anyway.
Alan is now taking a piece of Hot Wheels track (from the ptyderodactyl track he got a while back) and flipping a car on it. It's nice to see him creative.
Time for Alan and Mark to take a bath!
