lesliepearLast night with a sick Alan curled up next to me, I put on some figure skating I came across while flipping channels - it was some sort of team championship on the Oxygen channel. I like skating and The Ice House skating rink near me is where some champion skaters (such as Sarah Hughes) train. Mark even likes it.
Anyway Ina and Zimmerman were skating for the US - to of all things U2's Vertigo. Nice routine, but the sound quality was horrible - like someone had a microphone to the area speaker - what would Bono think of being ice skated too? The next pair was the Canadian pair from the 2002 Olympics - didn't see much of their routine but they were skating to Winona Judd covering Foreigner's I Want to Know What Love Is. I decided I wasn't crazy about the music etc after that.
