lesliepearIt was weird seeing the story of the plane crash unfold this afternoon. It finally turned out to be Cory Lidle of the NY Yankees and his flight instructor who were in a plane. Reminded me of Thurman Munson's fatal crash in the 1970's. (And odd that the Yankees found a way to make the news, overshadowing the Mets who are still in the playoffs (even though they were rained out tonight).
Then on the way home there was a limo on fire on Rt 495 - my bus took the service road and all I saw was the smoke - black at first, then white as the fire was put out. I hope no one was hurt.
I'm glad I'm working from home tommorrow.
