It appears almost everyone I voted for won. (A republican won for county clerk - good for checks and balances I suppose in a democratic county, and NJ proposition 2 went no).

I wonder how Proposition 8 went in California. I wish NJ's 2 propositions even got 1% of the coverage in media and blogs that one did!

I'm glad it's over though. Now it's time to make plans for 2009 and work for change. I hope everyone reading this did vote, no matter which way you voted.

At the moment, Yes on 8 - preserving marriage as between a man and woman only, is in the lead; but it's still a pretty close call.

I'm very sad to hear that.

I suspect a good many of our LJ friends are unhappy about this.
