Got a few things done today

We all went to Walmart where DH's car got 4 tires and an oil change. It runs better now. I think it should pass the NJ inspection once we get the papers from the dealer. It still needs the light on the shifter fixed - me I'd have it fixed, DH just lives with it :(

Went to Railroad Avenue/Corrados/Big Lots and Dollar Tree - not many bargains today alas.

Came home and finished all of Alan's thank you card - just need to address and mail the ones that aren't classmates - and burn CD's of photos for his 2 friends from his old daycare (photos I have the kids in I took when they were in daycare).

Sorted out the stuff between the 2 cars - each car has extra fluids in the trunk and snow scrapers and a blanket. And I got cooler bag for my car so I don't have to switch the bag around since both cars will randomly go on errands/trips now.

Cleaned up the deck for the winter, brought in the toys, covered the chairs. Removed most of the leaves that fell on to the patio, will go back and vaccuum the deck next weekend to get the rest of them.

Straightened the hall closet, put all the folding chairs away. I am so resolved to get some matching folding chairs next year - the kind that have long metal legs and go in a bag. Those should take up less space.

Also put in a new toilet seat in the small bathroom - I think the one in there wasn't cleaning up all the well. Pretty easy.

We also did hear from the cable company - I got them to come between 3-5 tommorrow. And 2 friends of ours helped get the HEAVY old 26" Toshiba TV out to the dumpster. I posted it on freecycle and someone took it I think!

So, not a bad day. Now tommorrow I have to deal with India at 8 AM (6:30 PM for them). And 2 other calls - one is information on the health insurance changes and one is our group status meeting. Thank goodness I have a speaker phone!

Dear friend I'm glad you got things done. I never get things done it's only working and working and never have time to do things at home.

Love Corrados. Drove past there on my way to the baby shower yesterday and wanted to stop but it was after 5 and I figured they would be closed already on a Sunday.
