I concur with the DVR comments. I have a few Spongebob episodes (the newer ones) and a bunch of the Penguins of Madagascar episodes saved on the DVR as well as some Backyardigans which Olivia still loves ... and some movies. There's always something there for them to watch if there's nothing on the TV. They don't watch tons of tv. They'd much rather do art or play outdoors or do imagination play but they enjoy certain shows and so I make sure I have some saved. Oh..and for the anonymous poster, we read too. Lots. Junie B. and The Littles and Magic Treehouse and so on. Just not early in the morning when everyone's trying to get ready for the day. :)
