Inky's home fell through. Now I'm back to square one. I really need her out of the bathroom, it is definitely affecting all of us and making things difficult (we do have another bathroom, but this has the tub in it - so Alan has to get sink bath's for now...among other problems including the litter box STUCK in the hall..)

I'm really sorry! I know how hard it is, it took us nearly 3 years to find the right home for our dog because he was a 'special needs' pooch. I hope Inky is easier to place.

Would something like this help in the mean time?

I asked DH. Don't know if we'd want to spend that right now - it is a good idea.

You could probably find something cheaper on ebay or from a local vet. I know how hard it is, especially when you and dh don't exactly agree wholeheartedly. Did the vet suggest anything else? When Red was having the worst of his spraying troubles, our vet put him on a mild sedative. It helped!

She's been on Prozac and I started her up again because she's getting frustrated in the bathroom. DH just won't trust her outside the bathroom and we can't move anytime soon. I had borrowed a cage from the vet, but it didn't fit in the bathroom and DH doesn't want a cage anywhere else due to the litter box. (We are having a tough enough time with Moxie's being in the hall, I have to watch that Alan doesn't crawl into it...)

I may have to send her to my home of last resort. This is an internet person in Georgia with lots of room and cats...but she had major illness go through her home and I'm not sure its gone entirely or the cause/carrier every found. Also a lot of people have said to get rid of the other cat, but he is no problem and doesn't seem to miss Inky...he's more intersted in the canned food in the bathroom. I think he may be Alan's buddy once Alan figures out how to pet a cat :)

The other cat in the potential home turned out to be agressive. The owner brought another cat over to see what would happen - and the fur flew.

The last thing Inky needed was an agressive cat. Still desperately trying to find her a home. May end up dragging her to a pet store's rescue group adopt a cat session if the last possible internet contact falls through.
