None in particular
Sep. 10th, 2003 11:52 amCame home last night after dr appointment for PPD med. Those are such a pain, 15 minutes at a mental health facility at 5:30 -- and I have to leave work early because the ()!@)(#()@# won't let me work from home. And I'm trying to get off Zoloft -- but want to wait till Inky's homed (please!) and still a little shook from Geories fall. So I'll take the pills another month before going to a lower dosage.
When I got home, Dh tells me Alan was kicking/rolling a ball very well at Nadia's. She thinks he'll be a soccer player. (trying to see me a soccer mom, a jock baby was one thing we joked at about as we are not). He was cranky at dinner, wouldn't be fed, so gave him food. Hot dog and cheese bits and some string beans. Went to Valley Fair (2 minutes away) to look for a ball. He fell asleep in the car. No balls of the right size. Took him home and to bed.
He slept from 9:30 (ish) to almost 6 without a wakeup. Turns out he took a 15 minute nap all day! I guess its too fun to stand in the crib or something.
The bottle of storebrand infant decongestant I just bought expires next month - I'll return it if I can. He only needed one dose and I'd like to keep it around for the winter. Grr. they shouldn't sell stuff so close to expiration. I wouldn't care if he had an ongoing cold and I'd use it up. But his cold/allergy passed quickly.
Found out the Olive Garden near me closed. No unlimited pasta bowl for us this year. Maybe it was a victim of its own success as there were usually long waits, maybe people STOPPED going.
Saw the new Gymboree girls line. Leopard print (cute). But who decided to make suede pants and a suede dress. Not practical at all - or cheap. Ultrasuede/moleskin would have been better, it can be washed! (Even wool baby clothes can be dry cleaned, but suede is hard to clean).
Enough rambling for now!

So, sounds as if Queens has its collective hands full with dogs and cats that need homes. But this posting has a lot of names of LJ communities -- if there are any you haven't tried yet, maybe you could post messages about Inky there too. Hope this helps!
