Is it me - or does this not go together well?

(Someone won this in the charity auctions last May that Gymboree did...and their child outgrew it...this is probably legitimate to sell before it is in the stores)

I need a girl to shop for...someday...although her entire wardrobe will probably be PINK...and then she'll HATE the color. (I LOVE PINK!)

I think its really cute, especially the skirt. But as much as I love pink on Emily too I don't associate pink with the Christmas season.

After 3 boys, poor Audrey has a pink wardrobe! I can count on one hand the number of non-pink items! She'll probably hate pink as she gets older but until she learns to talk...tough!

I like the dress but it has a 50's diner feel to me, not Xmas!

I had a friend who had a daughter - the mom didn't like pink at all, so I went out of my way to get a baby outfit that was bright blue and green striped. I even decorated her shower gift with every color pastel ribbon EXCEPT pink - it was a plastic basket of NON pink baby stuff and I wove the ribbons around it. I wonder if she still has it - that baby is 13 now!

Hm, I seem to remember that basket and that baby shower ... can't imagine why! :-)

I didn't look at their laundry baskets the last time I was visiting ... but I can assure you that neither daughter wears much pink!

Time flies! I realized the other day that the little 4 year old I used to nanny for turned *20* this year!

You know, I wanted a girl specifically so I could dress her in the cute pink ruffly things and then I got a girl and I just didn't have the desire to do it anymore. Sadly red haired, blue eyed, fair skinned girls don't look all that good in pink.
