Gymboree Boys Line Holiday Review :(

In a word...BORING!
The xmas pieces are blah, the coats are SO plain and so are the hats and gloves.
There are NO dress shoes for the holiday outfits either.
The only thing that is cute are the firetruck gymmnies.
I really HOPE this is the last line before the new boys design team comes in.

I'm glad Alan still fits in layette. The choo-choo train outfit is cute, and so is the red unisex set. I'm leaning toward the unisex set because the train cardigan is tier 1 and my store(s) aren't. I just have to find shoes somewhere.

And the mommy sweaters were a disapointment. They weren't neutral enough to go with a boys outfit or nice enough to just get for myself :(

I'm SO glad I got Ben an outfit from last year's line (Holiday Snow). The train overalls and the red fleece overalls are cute enough, but not really Christmas day cute for me. Alex will get a sweater & plaid hirt from Baby Gap or Old Navy, because I'm not paying Gymboree prices for what they have in little boys sizes.

Since we're Jewish, I like something winter/holidayish for parties but not actually xmasy. I agree the outfit wouldn't be good for Xmas :(

The Cardigan and Red adn White Outfit is Ok...but not great. I'm dissapointed that it's all so bad. I was expecting better. When are they going to do some neat stuff like the Victorian Charm line again? The girl's stuff is pretty ugly too I have to say.
