lesliepear1. Do you watch sports? If so, which ones?
Sometimes. I've watched baseball, football, basketball, tennis, golf, hockey, soccer, horse racing, figure skating, the NY marathon and the olympics
2. What/who are your favorite sports teams and/or favorite athletes?
I like the Mets, Red Sox and the NY Giants. I don't know if I have any favorite athletes at the moment.
3. Are there any sports you hate?
Golf. Boring.
4. Have you ever been to a sports event?
I've seen the NY Mets at Shea, the Boston Red Sox at Fenway, the NY Islanders at the Coliseum and an exhibition game at the Worcester Centrum, the pocono 500 (where we were in the infield and I got a bad sunburn), auto racing at the long closed Freeport racetrack, the NY Liberty, the NY Nets (when they were in the ABA when I was a child), the US (tennis) Open when it was in Forest Hills, greyhound racing at Wonderland in Mass, and to Belmont, Monmouth, Meadowlands (and I think the long closed Roosevelt) horse tracks. And I've seen high school (Oceanside Sr HS) and college (WPI) football. Never been to a pro football game.
5. Do/did you play any sports (in school or other)? How long did you play?
Not really - just played in Gym or summer camp. Was on my companies soccer team when I worked for Wang in the 1980's and I did play softball this summer at the company picnic. I was also in a bowling league once and went fishing with my dad as a child.
