I watched my first episode of CSI tonight.
Why? Because it was about "furries" - the people who dress as animals for intimate relations .... a bit beyond Trekkers, Civil War Renactors, and SCA members and their role playing games.
I started to watch with Alan...but kept myself in front of the TV and then turned it off for a bit...not for him.
Anyway, I think the whole episode was written just to use the line delivered by Grissom at the end .... "Fur and Loathing in Las Vegas" LOL!

CSI is my show, I watch faithfully every thursday night. But I do have to say that was the weirdest one I have ever seen.

That's one of my favorite shows. :) That was some interesting subject matter... I knew about furries, but I didn't realize there were also plushies.

I did a bit of googling on it this AM at HOME -- it is an interesting world from the one article I read (from Vanity Fair).

I wonder how the actors/actresses doing the furry parts felt?

I LOVE CSI. It is THE best show out there right now. I'm addicted to watching all the reruns on Spike TV on Friday nights, too. :D I think I've got a crush on Grissom. Something about a mature older man being so sexy when he's quoting Shakespeare or spouting something smart.

The Grissom character seems very smart and so does Marge Hellenberger's (I don't know the characters name). Amazing how they could keep so cool.

I didn't get the other 2 characters - the vending machine story - but it was kind of cool and gross how they showed the blood splattering at room vs. freezer temperature.

I could see how this show could get people interested in forensic science.

I like CSI but you're right, it's definitely not for kids =) I missed last night's because the kids were still up and I don't turn it on when they're around.

The one next week looks like it will be creepy, but good.
