Last night I came home and DH and Alan were sleeping (he'd picked Alan up from daycare). They slept from 6ish till 8 (I think I finally woke them up, I was bored.) For dinner we had these meat pancake's the sitter had made that Alan liked (like a pancake on the bottom with beef, onions and peppers on top). DH, a fussy eater actually ate them. Alan didn't eat more of his (he'd had some earlier) but did eat some Gerber greenbeans. We had a hard time putting him to bed - he's either suffering some nightime anexity - he needs us near or it was the late nap.
Dh decided to sleep in the master bedroom next to me (the mold is finally clearing up in the masterbathroom helping our allergies!) - I figured he'd curl up next to me and leave Alan in the crib. But no, he takes sleeping Alan and puts him in bed with us (DH loves to sleep next to Alan - always has.) I figured Alan'd be confused when he woke up - although he usually winds up with ME in the bed in the night when HE wakes up. Anyway Alan managed to turn sideways in the night so the three of us were sleeping like the letter H. By sleeping sideways, Alan managed to take up a lot of space in the queen size bed.
My boss just came by. Apparently my cell phone had been on this morning, it redialed his # and somehow he heard me talking to Alan on his message. I was a little embarassed. Fortunately he thought it more amusing than anything - he searched the net to find out who called. (Apparently my cell phone # is googleable for a trip I took).
My joke of the day: Michael Jackson, 5" 11", 120 lbs...skin, bones and NUTS!
