The Night Before Thanksgiving

lesliepearWe headed out to the Compusa 6-12 midnight sale tonight. Got nothing - we didn't need anything, and there may be better sales on Friday. Compusa's parking lot was crowded and there were people on-line with stuff including someone in a clown suit. The clown was apparently shopping. Alan stared at him but wasn't afraid.
So afterwards we went to the local hamburger place (DH's favorite) - the Fireplace. Alan was hungry. He ate just about a whole hamburger (no bun), some fries and quite a few pickles (homemade 1/2 sour ones - a speciality of the place.). Pickles are hard to eat with his missing teeth but eat he did! He even decided he liked ketchup - stuck his finger in it and licked it and ate a piece of raw onion I left him.
Tommorrow we go to my cousin's. My grandmother, my cousin, his 3 kids, his ex-wife and his ex-wife's boyfriend (!) will be there. I think it will be catered by Whole Foods (which isn't bad). I'm sure Alan will eat a little of everything!
