I think the interview went ok last night - need to dash off a quick thank you.
Got a call about another financial position, this time in Jersey City (New Jersey, this side of the hudson river!) I'll hear from them what the next step there is after the hiring manager reviews the resume.
Guess things are picking up.
Wish I could get OUT of finance, but what can you do?

Just not a financial company

I'll stay in testing, just not for a financial company. Some companies I'd work for near me are: Liz Claborne, Children's Place, UPS, toys R us (sadly i think their IT is being outsourced), or even pharmaceutical (but that is so tought to get into the Q/A there because of the federal regulations).

I work as a financial analyst and although I consider myself primarily a left-brain-driven person, lately the work has felt dry and rigid even for me.
