In June is my 20th college reunion - WPI in Worcester, MA. We'll most likely take Alan (age 20 months by then). I think we'll be able handle him with the reunion, we may have to skip a few activities (not sure how he'll deal with the banquet dinner, the coordinator said last year a 1 year old came to the dinner for his/her parents class) and we aren't sure if we will stay in a dorm or a nearby hotel.

Our class is the youngest attending, so I doubt there will be too many young children there. I figure some of the older classes like 1954, 1949, 1944 etc would get a kick out of a smiling Alan :)

We'd like to tack on sometime in Boston. We did the same thing for my 15th reunion in 1999, staying somewhere in Wellsley(?) and taking the greenline to town. I've got no idea about taking strollers on the T though. Or where might be a good place to stay that's not expensive. (I'm personally more familiar with areas North of the Mass turnpike and west of Rt's 28/93 (I lived in North Reading for 6 years from 1984-1990.)) I'd like to visit The Children's Museum, Fanuiel Market, Museum of Science and The Acquarium. I'm also really curious to see what Boston looks like as the Central artery finally comes down (and the new road looks like).)

Anyone have suggestions?

Heard the "woopi" joke a lot :)

Smith is a very good school. I applied to Williams, didn't get in.

Last time we were in Boston, we Pricelined the Swissotel for like $75. It was very nice and reasonably priced as well. These days I am more of a Hotwire fan, but either of those sites are the way to go.

Hotwire and Priceline sound like a good idea, but I'm trying to figure out where to stay (in Boston or suburbs). Maybe the AAA book will have some ideas.
