I've had a sore throat for a few days and yesterday felt like I was
coming down with a cold (maybe because I hadn't been sleeping well), so I
went to my primary care doctor (who I don't like and want to switch after
the baby's born) - I was diagnosed with thrush (oral yeast) - I thought I
might have it. Diagnosis was easy. But when the doctor went to look up
medicines, everything was coming up class "C" - not good for pregnancy. I
had her call the OB's office (fortunately they are open Thurs night).
They decided at 33 weeks, that myclex losenges were the best thing for me
and least risky for the baby. So far they seem to help, but I have to
take them 4x a day for 2 weeks. I'm still stuffed up and taking pseudofed
- so I decided to stay home and rest (even though there was a co-workers
baby shower today).
