Weekend Update

Went to the children's clothing exchange sponsored by a nearby church. Did very well, found some nice little boy stuff. Even DH thought stuff was cute - although I had to tell him not to look at stuff over size 12 months...the 4T swim shorts he found were cute, but we'd never find them when Alan gets to that size. In return for the clothes, I donated that beige with pink trim sleeper I got by mistake and some $, since I don't yet have outgrown clothes. We also went to the next town's townwide garage sale. Got a neat playmat, vinyl fold up book, cute Playskool stuffed truck and 2 little pop up books at different sales. My mother in law got a Fisher Price little cart, a Vtech push toy and an older but barely used highchair (this was stuff that belonged to a grandmother for use on visits, it will continue to the same :)). Got home and washed almost all the baby clothes that needed washing. (I bought some cheap cloth diapers for rag purposes, after washing them decided they would not have made good diapers - seemed neither soft nor very absorbant). Later we went to dinner with friends.
Sunday:
Lined the still unfinished changing table/dresser shelves. Shelved all the parenting and children's books I've collected. (DH cleared space on a bookcase for me.) Went grocery shopping at Shoprite for triple coupons (saved almost 40.00!) Took photos for putting stuff up on Ebay and started listing stuff (user id is lesliepear, if anyone's interested). Still a lot of baby stuff to be assembled (bed, changing table, car seat...)
Tonight I have my 37 week appointment and my stop at Target on the way home (I need stuff, and I always look for clearance bargains.)
