Market Focus Group
Oct. 2nd, 2002 07:33 amI saw an ad in the paper on Sunday for a market focus group study group near me in NJ - they were looking for 2nd and 3rd trimester pregnant women and would pay 100.00 for it. I called and after a bit of back and forth phone tag, got interviewed and accepted for it. I think it has something to do with mother/baby skin care - no testing, just opinions as far as I can tell. I told the woman that my doing it would be "subject to baby", she told me there was one person who was due *1* day after the focus group (which is next Tuesday).
DH and I agreed that the money was for Alan, after all without him, I wouldn't be eligible for the study.
(Marketing focus groups/studies are where they get a selected group of people in a room and you are asked questions related to the product/service someone is researching. This is the second one I've done recently - I got randomly selected for one on NJ Transit (commuter bus line) in the last month we even got food at the one plus $100 and NJ transit got an EARFUL from complaining commuters!)
