Unusually Easy Money
Oct. 8th, 2002 07:31 pmI think I posted last week that I had signed up for a market research firms study for 2nd and 3rd trimester pregnant women.
I went to the study tonight - I was asked yet again more screening questions (what skin care I used, did I work for a skin care company etc.) - they then called names - they had overbooked the study and three of us were left behind. But we still got paid - my check was for 115 (I guess 100.00 for the survey and maybe another 15.00 for the inconvience?). Not bad for basically sitting for about a 1/2 hour (time I got there, till I got the check).
It worked out for the best as I was able to have dinner with DH, his uncle and MIL. His uncle and SO (who was out of town) sent an early baby gift of lots of useful stuff - including a nice big navy blue diaper bag. Since she has 5 children and 13 + grandchildren (one on the way), she's got experience in this sort of thing!
