Random Thoughts
Nov. 1st, 2002 04:06 pmYesterday I had DH pickup a prescription for me at the supermarket pharmacy (my asthma inhaler). He came back with 2 items? It turns out the pharmacy made a mistake and gave me someone else's medicine. Fortunately I didn't recognize the medicine or the doctor and immediately questioned it, but I'd never seen that happen before anywhere - and I'd been using the same pharamcy and pharamicists since 1999. It did happen when the one I don't like was working however.
I'm actually in a pair of non maternity button/zip pants. They are tight now (and they were one of my looser ones before pregnancy), but it is encouraging.
I haven't gotten Alan's birth certificate yet - I sent for it earlier this week - I wonder how long that takes (it's from the next town over) and how long the social security card takes. He has his health insurance card though.
I'm glad DH sleeps with the computer room and I can't write these entries in the wee hours of the morning. Those are the worst for me. And for some reason I cry every time I wind up the Gund Bear that plays Rockabye Baby that Alan got as a present.
I got the Bravado bra I ordered on the net. Nice bra, but I need one size down and one size larger cup. It will be a few days before this one gets back and the other one arrives. I really wanted to find a non-underwire nursing bra. I'm finding the wire gets in the way a little when holding my breast to feed Alan. Maybe I'll get to Target and see if they have any 40 D bras. It may be easier for me to try them now without a big stomach.
Alan's eating better now, sucking for longer. Hopefully the supplimentation is helping and he will grow nice and big at his next checkup. Its hard to imagine the 0-3 month size clothes will eventually fit better and then get too small.
I still haven't gotten either car seat checked. I haven't been able to either bring Mark's car down to the police station or get the base installed in mine and bring it down. Note to future parents: Install and get car seat checked before baby is born.
