Thursday night I took all our laundry to the laundromat - it had piled up and the single pair of pay washer/dryers for our condo wouldn't handle it. I was gone longer than I thought - but DH was wonderful - he changed Alan (his first poopy change), fed him and put him to bed. I had to pump when I got home because I didn't expect Alan asleep.
Friday I felt awful - sore throat and tired (lack of sleep catching up to me?). I stayed home and DH took Alan to daycare. I ended up sleeping in the morning and afternoon.
Saturday I was better. We went to a friends house for a birthday party and had a good time. DH was silly pileing stuff on an unspecting sleeping person (and he doesn't drink). Alan started to make more noises, I think he's found his voice! He was even laughing (softly) when I was bouncing him up and down on my lap on Sunday AM!
Sunday we went to our science fiction club meeting to introduce Alan. DH was holding Alan to ring the bell to start the meeting, and somehow banged the gavel so that it broke. (Can't take DH anywhere). Alan was pretty good at the meeting, although he got a little bored and doesn't play with toys much yet. We stopped at Hometown Buffet on the way home (yum) and Alan slept the WHOLE TIME we were there!
This morning I found out my working from home due to office construction will start NEXT week - just in time to NOT commute to NYC with the Orange alert going on. Now I need to upgrade my PC (its a 5 year old p2-300) ASAP.
